February in Sicily – A Culinary Journey with Laura Marino

In February, L’Avventura invites guests on a culinary journey to Sicily – an island that holds a special place in the heart of our head chef, Laura Marino. For Laura, Sicily is not just a destination; it’s home. She spent her summers in Palermo, surrounded by the aroma of fresh blood oranges, the rich flavors of Marsala wine, and her family’s homemade cannoli.

“Sicily is very close to my heart. My family is from Palermo, and we return there every summer. This theme is a tribute to the flavors and traditions I grew up with, where every dish carries a piece of the island’s soul”, Laura shares.

As an homage to Laura’s roots and Sicilian culinary culture, we are presenting a special menu for February:

ORANGE & FENNEL
Blood orange salad with fennel, Pantelleria capers & olive oil.

CAPONATA
Classic caponata served with toasted bread, basil & Pecorino cheese.

BUSIATE CON PESTO DI PISTACCHIO
Busiate pasta with pistachio & zucchini pesto and red prawns.

CANNOLI
The iconic Sicilian dessert filled with pistachio, ricotta & chocolate.
